February 2nd

Good times today, whiners! The songs we listened to were different than anything that you listen to with your friends, but it was the lyrics that we hoped you'd pay attention to. Eddie Vedder took these songs as an opportunity to represent the book and the main ideas in the book.

Question for Today's Blog
Which of the songs was most similar to the book, Into the Wild? Why?
Look up the soundtrack if you forgot the songs we listened to.

SONGS WE LISTENED TO:
Setting Forth
Rise
End of the Road
Guaranteed
No Ceiling
Far Behind
Long Nights
Hard Sun

  1. Guaranteed by eddie vedder
this is the stanza that makes me think so
Leave it to me as I find a way to be
Consider me a satellite, forever orbiting
I knew all the rules, but the rules did not know me
    Guaranteed

  3. The song that i thought was most similar to the book ws End ofthe Road. The reason why I thought End of the Road ws most similar ws because to some people, end of the road could mean the finish. But, to some other people, the end of the road could mean the begining. So thats y i thought End of the Road was the best song......

  6. I would have to say the song Setting Forth. This song described the nivel the way McCandless was going to the wild and not coming back.
